Natalie Ruge, LMFT
My Approach to therapy is to meet you wherever you may be emotionally and not try to talk you out of your feelings. I want to hear your story- listening- fully present, not judging you. Creating a safe space for you to reveal the hurts, habits and hang ups that are holding you back from being your best self. In the counseling relationship you will make the most progress with someone with whom you feel a connection and a sense of safety and trust. I strive for counseling that takes into consideration the whole person - physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. I will act as your guide in discovering more about yourself- your thoughts, feelings and beliefs about yourself and the world. I will compassionately encourage you to identify your patterns of behavior, draw on your own strengths and choose the direction you want to take in resolving issues. I will provide the education and new skills to help you replace negative patterns of thinking and behaving. Together, we can reach your goals, find healing, a sense of peace and self-mastery.
